Become a Youtuber FAQ
The short answers: no codes exist for this game, no Robux are required, buy gear before cosmetics, uploads run on a 15-second cooldown (6 with Fast Render) and all five passes are permanent.
Short answers to the questions we get most about Become a Youtuber!. Everything here is about the Incrementality Inc game with editors and live streams — not the similarly named tycoon.
Starting out
How do I start? Walk to the desk and film your first video. The beginner guide walks the first hour step by step.
Do I need Robux? No. Gear is bought with in-game money; passes only speed the loop up.
What should I buy first? Gear, not cosmetics. Cameras first — the upgrade order explains why.
How long is an upload? The upload cooldown is 15 seconds by default and 6 with Fast Render; recording and rendering come before it. Details on the upload page.
Money
Where does money come from? Ad revenue on views, sponsor offers, ad boosts and live-stream donations. The money guide ranks them.
Why is my money per hour flat? Either you bought something cosmetic, or the trend rotation moved — check trends.
Are sponsor offers worth taking? Almost always. They are lump sums on videos you were uploading anyway.
Growth
Why did my views stop? The category went cold. Take the strongest trend for your next upload.
How do I get subscribers faster? Reply to comments every cycle, stream when you can, and accept collabs while your channel is small — see subscribers.
What are the play buttons? Milestone trophies for crossing subscriber thresholds, with the silver one reported at 100K subscribers.
Passes
Which pass is best? Fast Render for tempo, 2x Money for income, Double Views for growth, VIP Creator for cosmetics plus XP, Double Rewards if you play daily. Full breakdown on the passes page.
Are passes permanent? Yes, all five are permanent effects.
Do passes make the game pay to win? They shorten the same journey. Nothing is locked behind them.
Codes and content
Are there codes? Not in this game — here is why the lists you see are for another one.
Is this the official wiki? No. This is an unofficial fan guide, and the about page says exactly which game it tracks.
